Maternity and Pediatric Ward of Provincial Hospital and Multipurpose Training Center buildings which were built with the financial support of Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) have been inaugurated by the Spain Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos Cuyaube and Arman Governor of Badghis Province.
Foreign Minister Plane landed on Qala e Naw air port this morning and welcomed by Badghis Governor, officials from Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation and Afghan high rank authorities.
Badghis Governor expressed in his at the inauguration ceremony of Multipurpose Training Center, the achieved performances of the Spain Government are valuable and remnant.
Mr. Arman add, Assistance of the Spanish people and government of are essential in maintenance of security and implementation of development projects at the province level are the strengthening marked of friendship between the two countries.
Mr. Arman called, Construction of Maternity and Pediatric ward of Provincial Hospital and Multipurpose Training Center are the main projects with highest priority in the province, the role of Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) in construction of health infrastructure were important.
Badghis Governor requested the high rank authorities of Spain officials to undertake their commitment promised in his trip to Spain.
At the same time Miguel Angel Moratinos Cuyaube Spain Foreign Minister said, presence of civilian and military forces in Afghanistan shows their long-term commitment with the Afghan state and its people.
Spain Foreign Minister adds, Spanish troops who are involving in maintaining security together with the Afghan National forces were doubled in numbers since three years. In the mean time, informing the increasing of funding in the development projects.
Mr. Cuyaube committed that, Spain has plan to continue its militarily and financially cooperation to the people and Afghan Government in the future.
Mr. Cuyaube pointed out; Spanish Government will fully support and remain with the people of Afghanistan till they became self-reliant.
The construction of 60 beds maternity and child hospital and MTC building with enough space for 900 students are well equipped with the modern technology.
Also Foreign Miguel Angel Moratinos Cuyaube and Afghan authorities visit the exhibition of Agriculture section of AECID in Shogofan Farm of Badghis Province.
